LOCAL Armstrong baseball team No. 27 in preseason poll The Armstrong Atlantic State University baseball squad checked in at No. 27 in the Collegiate Baseball Lineup?s Division II Top 30 preseason poll, released this week by collegiatebaseballlieup.com. The Pirates finished 35-17 overall last season and return their top four hitters, including two-time All-Peach Belt Conference catcher John Roberts, as well as two of their top starting pitchers.
